Privacy Policy

The AI Champions platform (the "Platform", including its website and mobile applications) is operated by Innovation Ventures Technologies – L.L.C – S.P.C ("Innoventures"), a limited liability company (sole proprietorship) established in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and registered with the Abu Dhabi Registration Authority (ADRA) under the Department of Economic Development – Abu Dhabi.

We are committed to protecting your privacy and to handling your personal data responsibly, transparently and in accordance with the applicable laws of the United Arab Emirates — in particular Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (PDPL) and its implementing regulations, and the information-security requirements applicable in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.

Who this applies to

This policy applies to everyone who uses the Platform — government professionals and members whose accounts are provisioned by their entity or created on sign-up.

Information we collect

Account & identity data — your name, work email, username, the government entity you belong to, and (where you or your entity provide it) your Emirates ID or UAE PASS identifier used to recognise your account.
Profile data — the optional profile picture, banner and details you add during onboarding.
Interaction & usage data — the actions you take on the Platform: content you view, likes, bookmarks, comments, searches, submissions, learning progress and similar engagement signals.
Authentication & security data — sign-in and session events (including passwordless one-time codes and magic-link / UAE PASS sign-in), needed to keep your account secure.
Device & technical data — device type, application version, approximate region, and server log data generated when you use the Platform.

How we use your data

We process your data only to run the Platform and serve its government-community purpose: to authenticate you and keep your account secure; to display and personalise content, the feed and recommendations; to operate the governance and content-moderation workflow; to measure aggregate usage so we can improve the service; and to meet our legal and regulatory obligations.

We do not sell your data

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data, and we never share it for third-party advertising. Your data is used solely to operate the Platform and for the purposes described in this policy.

Your government entity — so it can govern its own members and content.
Trusted service providers — hosting, storage and analytics providers acting under contract on our instructions and bound to protect your data.
Authorities — only where we are legally required to disclose, or to protect the security and integrity of the Platform.

Security

We apply organisational and technical safeguards appropriate to a government-grade service — encryption of data in transit and at rest, access controls, and continuous monitoring — consistent with UAE cyber-security and information-assurance requirements and the standards applicable in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.

Data retention

We keep your personal data for as long as your account is active and as long as necessary for the purposes above or to comply with the law, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

Subject to the PDPL, you may request access to your personal data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw a consent you have given. To exercise these rights, contact us through the Platform's support channel.

The Platform uses cookies and similar technologies as described in our Cookie Policy.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time; the version shown here is the current one, and material changes will be notified through the Platform.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account and associated data at any time — from the app (Settings → Delete Account) or via our public Delete Your Account & Data page. That page explains exactly what is deleted, what may be retained in anonymised form, and the 30-day grace period.
